Adding other Bloggers to follow

Today I have tried to add a fellow blogger. I followed the steps and soon will see if I have done it right. I should be on Catherine's blog as a friend or interested person or whatever they call it. This may be fun if I can ever feel that I can manage where and how things get on and about.
I went to Susan Gallagher's noon art demo today. I will go from time to time. She did a little farm field watercolor as is her general style. It is interesting to see what she can do with a paint brush... The paint just seems to go where her brush tells it. I wish my brushes had that kind of power. I love her work.

Painted on Tuesday July 21th

I Did a small painting of a little white shed in a field on Tuesday evening this past week. I took it to Sandi's class on Thursday and asked for a critique. They gave me about 3 or 4 ideas and I changed a couple of things. The piece was better with the changes. They were very small and so I didn't have to worry too much about loosing the painting. I have posted it on Facebook and so I will put it here .... Trying to learn a little more about how to use this site.

Aspen in the Field

I am going to try and put a post out every day or so and try to learn how to make changes or add and subtract information, pictures, etc.

Today I changed my blog ID, my blog name, and my posting name. I want stuff easy to write and read. I have worked on this for 3 or 4 hours and I think I have made the changes, but, I am not really sure. I don't always find the place to edit.... but, am getting better at it.

The Red in Watercolored Apples

I have been painting some watercolors outside on the patio this summer. I have loved doing it because this summer has been cooler until lately.

I was trying for a clear, strong, red which is somewhat hard to do in watercolor. I wish I had made the apples each a little different in color. I thought that I was doing that but, they turned out to be almost alike.
